Make the period, area basis and inclusions comparable before doing the maths.

Request the underlying document

Ask for the current approved charge statement and the period it covers. Do not substitute a general development average for a figure relating to the relevant property.

Make the basis comparable

Record the stated area basis, period, inclusions and exclusions beside each amount. Avoid comparing a monthly figure with an annual one, or a whole-unit amount with an area-based rate.

Keep the authority source visible

For Dubai, consult the Dubai Land Department service-charge resource and confirm applicability to the property. This showroom does not claim to hold an official or comprehensive service-charge dataset.
